About E-Motion Fitness HUB

E-Motion is an independent gym in Poole, Dorset. We pride ourselves on providing members a personal touch and understand progress isn’t a straight line. ONLINE COACHING

Can’t make it to our gym? We get it! That’s why we provide the option to be coached online. We’ll provide an effective training plan that can be done at home and check-in with each other at a time to suit you.

GROUP CLASSES

The core of what we do is in our group classes. Members are taken through their paces in a supportive environment where everyone encourages each other. Our expert coaches will guide you through from start to finish.

Our semi-private strength and conditioning classes are where many of our members begin their fitness journey. Numbers are limited which means our coaches can give you the attention you need to build your confidence in the gym.

We recognise everyone is different with specific goals and needs. Work with our expert coaches to get exactly what you need out of your training sessions or nutritional planning. There’s no cut and paste programs here!

TEENS

Designed exclusively for teens, we offer dynamic group classes that inspire and challenge. Led by experienced coaches, we create a supportive environment where teens can thrive, pushing limits to achieve goals.
PRE-TEENS

This program offers a vibrant mix of engaging activities and age-appropriate exercises. Through interactive group sessions led by our experienced coaches, we cultivate a nurturing environment where pre-teens can develop strength, coordination, and confidence. With a focus on active play and fundamental movement skills, we empower pre-teens to embrace a healthy lifestyle from an early age.

An exclusive fitness experience tailored to your schedule. Take advantage of our top-notch facilities and cutting-edge equipment, providing an ideal setting for focused workouts. Meet the founders

Meet us

Co-Founder
From a fitness coach in 2012 to master personal trainer at Virgin Active Dorset, James decided to take the plunge and go self-employed, renting a small space at a private gym delivering 121 PT sessions, which quickly turned into small group personal training and then larger group classes. ⁠
Fast forward and he now owns what he, and many others consider to be the best independent gym in Poole, E-Motion Fitness Hub which was established in 2017. ⁠
James has acquired a wealth of experience during his time working with people who are new to exercise to athletes looking to improve their craft. James loves nothing more than lifting some tin, moving his body, improving in himself, and getting to know and help the members of E-Motion Fitness Hub

Co-Founder
Jacks background in sport began with football during his youth, this led to him becoming an avid American football fan. From playing football, he moved on to American football, until his passion for cycling took over – he’s done a little bit of this over the years….
Having been medically discharged from The Royal Marines, with compartment syndrome, this led Jack back into the fitness industry. This is when he met his co-director, James. Roll forwards to 2017 and E-Motion Fitness Hub was born.
“The gym has grown into something very special, we welcome anyone from newbie to master level. We feel that the hub allows our community to develop, grow & progress at their own pace. Many of our members now have the confidence to train in gyms, in groups or alone, and even enter the odd fitness competition with likeminded people. Hands down, the best gym in the area – but of course I’m biased.”
Jack has a passion for pushing people further than they believed was possible, developing a mindset of “giving more when you think you can’t find anymore”.
You will find him on the gym floor in some hideous socks, shorts and shoe combo.
